The IDENA formulation team hopes you enjoy reading it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ic-blocks-responsive-spacer\"><div style=\"height:50px\"><\/div><div style=\"height:50px\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading \"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-50-color\">FOCUS&#8217;ID<\/mark> &#8211; New harvest &#8211; Maize &amp; Sorghum<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After collecting samples of the <strong>new maize and sorghum harvest from IDENA&#8217;s French customers<\/strong>, we carried out <strong>qualitative analyses<\/strong> of the samples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For both cereals, there is <strong>no significant difference <\/strong>between the nutritional analysis results for the <strong>2024 and 2025 harvests<\/strong>. Unlike last year, mycotoxin contamination levels are low (Arvalis). Of the 19 samples analysed, only 4 exceeded IDENA&#8217;s recommendations for fumonisins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>moisture content is around 14%<\/strong>, as it was last year. There has been a slight increase (0.3 points) in the average <strong>crude protein content (7%)<\/strong> and a 1-point decrease in <strong>starch (65%)<\/strong>. The average <strong>xanthophyll <\/strong>content is <strong>22 ppm<\/strong>, but the range of values is significant <strong>[17-28.2 ppm]<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-secondary-10-color\"><strong>Sorghum: <\/strong><\/mark><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018After the \u201cacceleration\u201d of 2024, 2025 marks a return to a more normal dynamic for spring crops: declining\/stabilising barley acreage and mixed harvests depending on the region\u2019 (France Agrimer).<br>Sorghum continues to position itself as a <strong>sustainable and economical crop<\/strong>, especially in the face of current climatic constraints.<br><strong>Chemical analysis<\/strong> of <strong>IDENA samples<\/strong> from the <strong>new 2025 sorghum harvest<\/strong> showed that moisture content was lower (14.1%) than last year, as was <strong>starch content (63.9% vs. 65.5%).<\/strong> There was a slight increase (0.1%) in <strong>protein<\/strong> content <strong>(9.6%)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-secondary-10-color\">Feed Maize: <\/mark><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The analyses carried out indicate an average <strong>moisture content of 14.3%<\/strong>, an average <strong>protein content of 6.9%<\/strong> and an <strong>amide content of 64%<\/strong>.<br>In addition, <strong>Promate measurements were carried out<\/strong> on maize grains<strong> intended for animal feed<\/strong> in order to assess <strong>the intensity of the thermal shock <\/strong>suffered during drying.<br>This year, the average value observed is <strong>39.4 (% albumin)<\/strong>, which is <strong>above the recommended optimal range (25\u201335)<\/strong>.<br>This indicator is<strong> essential for adjusting drying parameters<\/strong> to ensure <strong>optimal grain quality<\/strong>, combining <strong>good preservation<\/strong>, <strong>high digestibility<\/strong> and <strong>nutritional performance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ic-blocks-responsive-spacer\"><div style=\"height:20px\"><\/div><div style=\"height:20px\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading icone-rice\">Tendance des Mati\u00e8res Premi\u00e8res<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Cereal prices have remained relatively <strong>stable<\/strong> since the beginning of the year, with a <strong>slight increase for maize<\/strong>. <strong>Oilseed meal prices<\/strong> have remained fairly However, the protein raw material profile has changed. HP sunflower has been replaced by an increase in soya. The rise in cereal co-products has contributed to a slight decrease in phosphate incorporation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group animate__fadeInUp animation-extend paused animate__animated\" style=\"border-radius:0\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Standard chicken:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Formulas remain stable compared to December. The cereal profile is similar to last month&#8217;s.
