Our history, our heritage<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Born in 1995 in a turbulent health context, IDENA is directly involved in the food chain and fights for healthier, better quality animal and human feed that respects the balance between nature – animal – man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IDENA has succeeded in establishing its fundamentals and convictions in the animal nutrition market, developing them and continuing to build on them.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>

The company came into being thanks to the aspirations and innovative ideas of its founders, who sought to set IDENA apart from what was already being done. We see animal nutrition differently<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our mission is to market natural alternatives<\/strong> to conventional additives in order to reduce the use of antibiotics and preserve their effectiveness (antibiotic resistance).<\/strong> These alternatives are made up of bioactive and active ingredients derived from lactic fermentations<\/strong>.

30 years on, we are proud to have taken up the challenge and made this idea our speciality. The company is now recognised as an expert in zootechnics and animal nutrition<\/strong>. We have developed solid know-how<\/strong> through several applications (concepts and products), present in thousands of tonnes of feed in France and around the world.

All of this is achieved by staying close to our partners and their needs<\/strong>, in order to provide them with effective, practical, appropriate and innovative solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

June 1995<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After some thought, it’s decided: IDENA. Innovation Development In (En)<\/em> Animal Nutrition<\/strong>. These five letters are the quintessence of an ambitious project, illuminating the aspirations of the new service company.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

1 September 1995<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

IDENA is officially born. A birth announcement was sent to all feed manufacturers and other future partners.

The SME is independent, that’s its motto. The 5 people who make up IDENA hold the totality of the capital.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We achieve a turnover of 17.5 million francs, of which just over 10% is made from exports.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The company grows from strength to strength, and the team now consists of 12 people.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

IDENA sets up its own production site in Ponch\u00e2teau, again with a highly innovative idea compared with conventional plants in the sector. IDENA PRODUCTION is a safer plant, guaranteeing cross-contamination-free production<\/strong> for the animal sector, with a process and a level of safety inspired by the human pharmaceutical industry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
