Feed efficiency

Feed efficiency … pillar of economic efficiency

Optimizing digestion and improving feed conversion by minimizing waste are the concerns of Idena nutritionists.

Increasing feed efficiency is one of the major levers for improving farm profitability.
In poultry, the average Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) varies from 1.5 to 3 kg of feed per kilogram of live weight. It varies from 2.6 to 3 in pigs and from 4 to 10 in beef cattle.
Every point of improvement  in FCR  leads directly  to an increase  in breeders’ income.
