Our history, our heritage
Born in 1995 in a turbulent health context, IDENA is directly involved in the food chain and fights for healthier, better quality animal and human feed that respects the balance between nature – animal – man.
IDENA has succeeded in establishing its fundamentals and convictions in the animal nutrition market, developing them and continuing to build on them.
The company came into being thanks to the aspirations and innovative ideas of its founders, who sought to set IDENA apart from what was already being done. We see animal nutrition differently.
Our mission is to market natural alternatives to conventional additives in order to reduce the use of antibiotics and preserve their effectiveness (antibiotic resistance). These alternatives are made up of bioactive and active ingredients derived from lactic fermentations.
30 years on, we are proud to have taken up the challenge and made this idea our speciality. The company is now recognised as an expert in zootechnics and animal nutrition. We have developed solid know-how through several applications (concepts and products), present in thousands of tonnes of feed in France and around the world.
All of this is achieved by staying close to our partners and their needs, in order to provide them with effective, practical, appropriate and innovative solutions.
