As part of its commitment to sustainable and safe animal production, IDENA is joining the Mycotoxin Observatory for the 2025–2026 campaign, which will run from July 2025 to June 2026.
Created in 2017, this observatory brings together more and more players in the sector every year: livestock consulting companies, analysis laboratories, seed producers, feed and nutritional solution manufacturers, service companies and technical experts. Together, they contribute to improving knowledge of mycotoxin risk in France.
The Observatory’s work aims to:
This data provides a better understanding of regional dynamics, raises awareness among industry stakeholders and supports the prevention of mycotoxin-related risks in livestock farming.
As a committed player in animal nutrition, IDENA actively participates in the Observatory’s follow-up meetings and steering committee. This involvement provides access to anonymised raw data, an annual report and technical exchanges between experts. This participation is in line with IDENA’s ongoing work on mycotoxins and how to limit their presence in raw materials. The information provided by the Observatory will thus feed into our thinking and help to strengthen our approaches to prevention and nutritional innovation in order to understand the interactions between nutrition, intestinal health and animal performance.
Joining the Mycotoxin Observatory also affirms our commitment to a One Health approach: linking plant, animal and human health to build safer and more sustainable production systems.
Through this collaboration, IDENA is continuing its mission: to provide effective and responsible nutritional solutions based on science and shared expertise.
